The Big Distraction

Earlier in the week the big story in the main stream media was how congress was so "outraged" over AIG's bonuses. By midweek congress has passed a bill to tax those bonuses. Oh yay everyone, Congress to the rescue! Does anyone even realize that kind of intervention is against the constitution and didn't all those public servants take an oath to uphold that sacred document.
If that doesn't make your blood boil this will. While all this hoopla about AIG was going down someone gave the Federal Treasury the go ahead to basically write ourselves (U.S.A) an I. O. U to the tune of a trillion dollars. When that happened the price of gold shot up to forty or fifty dollars a share. Ladies and gentleman if we the American People would have known about that there would have been such an outcry against it that there would be no way that would have ever happened. So what's the result of I.O.U of a trillion bucks. The dollars value might be worth less than half it's amount it were lucky.
